Ralph Sampson is a speaker who motivates youth, business and adults alike through his unique story telling experiences. Ralph’s upbringing in the small town of Harrisonburg, Virginia built the foundation for his endeavors today. With the God’s gift of athletic ability and his parents and high school coach encouragement and discipline, he achieved more than he could every dream. A graduate of the University of Virginia, number one overall pick in the 1983 NBA Draft and inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame his career speaks for itself.
After his stellar basketball career he applied the same work ethics and principles he used growing up in a small town to achieve great success of the court as an entrepreneur, business owner and youth advocate. With his back ground from his college degree Ralph has become a powerful motivational speaker that transforms his small town work ethic and business savvy into a action packed inspirational message the will deliver results to any organization, regardless of their circumstance.
