Winner’s Circle Foundation

Overview

Mission

The mission of the Winner’s Circle Foundation is to empower today’s youth by initiating and mobilizing community base organization and programs that promote health, education and social needs of all people that want to be winners.

Vision

WCF is the visionary dream of former NBA great, three-time college basketball player of the year and graduate from the University of Virginia Ralph Sampson.  This innovative idea began in 1987 with Ralph and a few friends helping area children develop an attitude for winning in life as well as on the playing field.  After developing the system in his hometown Ralph took the program to new heights in whatever city he played and lived, by being a mentor to area youth.

To say that winning has a profound effect on the way society lives their life is an understatement.  Children must believe in themselves.  They must develop the ability to independently choose the positive path of life.  They must acquire the understanding that high morals, hard work and persistence are the qualities that lead to real success in life.

Purpose

The Winner’s Circle Foundation took flight with the dream that has been evolving since the beginning.  As a provider of sports and educational program for children across the country the WCF invest in activities that will make the greatest possible impact in communities across America.  Our movement will include a Hall of Fame; an interactive experience built around winners in life whose accomplishments represent winning within social-historical context of America.

The WCF brings organization and community together to focus on the most important needs of the community, building partnership, and leveraging resources to leave footprints that will last for a lifetime.

The WCF ensure that each organization in which they invest in a non-profit, tax exempt charity governed by people that have a heart for youth, and that it submit to an annual, independent financial audit, provided services at a reasonable cost, and maintain a policy of non-discrimination.

The WCF is a national organization dedicated to leading the movement in bringing together charitable organization that want to make a measurable impact in every community across the country.
